Mrs Adeola Asabia graduated from the University of Lagos in 1990 where she obtained her LLB and a Bachelor of Law degree from the Nigerian Law School. Her working experiences include working in the banking sector where she worked in the treasury operations unit, Ecobank Plc.
In 2000, she co-founded a non-profit NGO, Metamorphosis-Nigeria advocating for access to water & sanitation in low income and high density communities. She worked on the second national urban water sector reform with Lagos Water Corporation in 2005 on a project funded by the World Bank. She trained at the Entrepreneur studies of Lagos Business School in 2006 sponsored by Goldman Sachs and was awarded a certificate in entrepreneurial studies.
In 2008, she co-founded MN-Environmental Services as a social enterprise for profit and social impact where she serves as an Executive Director. This has enabled her to work as a social entrepreneur and has worked on Public-Private Partnership projects as a project director with MN Environmental Services and Lagos State Government to build and maintain public conveniences in Lagos State; to ensure that facilities are professionally managed to adopt global best practices. Adeola has received certification as a Global Bio risk Advisory Council trained technician. In 2016, she attended training at the Nigerian Stock Exchange on building a sustainable capital market. Mrs Adeola Asabia joined the Board of Directors of Interstate Securities Limited in 2005 as an Alternate Director and was later appointed a Director in 2019.
